While you're learning how to block, punch, and kick you will also be learning
UKE KATA
(Pronounced "Oo-Key Ka-Ta")
KATA are exercises that help
teach us how to put our
punches, kicks, and blocks
together so that they will ALL work
when we need them to.
The first KATA you must
MEMORIZE
is called
UKE
UKE means "to block"
UKE KATA is our blocking exercise.
To help you learn and practice at home, you can watch the video and print out the
instructions.
